
Over-sealant at shallow gaps and under-sealant at deep gaps are common issues in the sealing process, insulating glass sealing robot line,usually caused by two key factors:
1. Calibration of the scanning ruler
The scanning ruler measures the spacer depth in real time, based on which the system calculates the required sealant volume. Uncalibrated rulers lead to incorrect depth readings, resulting in overflow at shallow areas and insufficient filling at deep areas. Regular calibration is essential to ensure accurate data acquisition.
2. Overall machine operation precision
The mechanical precision of the equipment directly affects sealant control and path stability. Adjust the machine’s running precision to coordinate perfectly with the scanning ruler data, so that the glue output dynamically matches the gap depth.
With both factors well-tuned, the sealant will neither overflow at shallow gaps nor leave voids at deep gaps, ensuring consistent sealing quality.
