Solutions for Poor Sealing in Triple Glazing with Two Cavities
If you’re having trouble getting a good seal on triple glazing, let me share how to fix it!
For triple glazing with two cavities, always use high-quality butyl sealant—this stops the middle glass panel from sagging.
Another issue: with a wide sealant nozzle, when you apply the second bead of sealant, it’ll scrape off the first one, and that ruins the finish.
The fix is simple: switch to a small sealant nozzle.
To sum it up for triple glazing: use good butyl sealant, and make sure you’re using a small sealant nozzle!
