Poor glass cleaning is a common issue in insulating glass production. There are two main factors: the glass washing machine and the quality of the washing water.

1. Choose the Right Glass Washing Machine

A high-quality IGU glass washing machine should provide stable and effective cleaning for modern glass, including Low-E glass and coated glass

The washing system should include properly designed:

* Rough washing

* Fine washing

* Ultra-fine washing

* Water spraying

* Drying sections

The correct arrangement of these cleaning stages helps ensure consistent glass cleanliness and optical clarity.

 2. Use High-Quality Deionized Water

Water quality is also critical. For Low-E and coated glass, deionized water is recommended to reduce mineral deposits and water stains.

In many applications, water conductivity of around 30 μS/cm or lower provides excellent cleaning results. Higher conductivity may still be acceptable, but the water should be monitored and treated more frequently.

 3. Avoid Secondary Contamination

Traditional sponge rollers can wear easily and may cause secondary contamination. Dirt collected by the sponge can be transferred back onto the glass, resulting in inconsistent cleaning quality.

For this reason, advanced insulating glass washing machines should minimize the risk of secondary contamination and maintain stable cleaning performance.
